Vampire Actress Profile: Lynne Cormack

By then an accomplished actress is her own right, Lynne Cormack was lucky enough to wear the fangs in Dracula: The Series. It was at a time she looked to be a bit beyond the zenith of her beauty, but a total MILF nonetheless. In the episode "Damsel in Distress" Lynne is at one moment a hottish-Mom (in that 1980's sort-of-way) and an instant later we see her as Dracula's devoted bitch. There's the inference (we never see it) he quickly vampirized her during what was to be an innocent tete-a-tete. At one moment they're enjoying a glass of champagne and the next (at his slight provocation) she's baring her fangs and threatening to kill her children for him. Talk about flipping to the dark side! But to be fair, she's a single mom and a bit on the prowl for a man so in truth, she probably wanted some anyway. I just like what she got and how good she got it. In the end she backed off and didn't bite her kids, but not before some unabashed fawning, a fabulous change of dress, and who knows what else (they seemed to have the time an inclination for some seedy vampire sex). She finally collapsed at the moment she should have been sucking some familial blood and awoke "cured". Unfortunate ending, but here's to a great transformation while it lasted.
